Labor Inspection accesses municipal registry data
What it is

The Labor Inspection will be able to consult the INE municipal registry database through a web system called SECOPA. The objective is to verify information about workers and companies in its labor investigations.

What it means for you

Data from your municipal registration (address, cohabitants) can be cross-checked with labor information to detect fraud. The BOE does not specify what privacy safeguards exist or what limits apply to that access.

Santander changes terms of car financing contracts
What it is

The Ministry approves changes to the contract models that Santander Consumer Finance uses for vehicle loans (leasing and credit). Annexes on payments, interest, and personal data are modified.
